loved Robin I think she'd be getting a whole lot less abuse if it wasn't for her faith. At least someone is willing to stand up for their faith and not sacrifice their morals...
^ ^ ^ I agree totally that Robin wouldn't be so castigated if it weren't for her faith. Problem is, when you're vocal and open about your faith, others will expect you to uphold (ALL) the morals and standards in keeping with that faith. So when a person's "ugly side" comes out -- and every living human has that, regardless of religious affiliation -- those who are open about their faith are judged more harshly, and perhaps for good reason, I don't know. That's why it's such a slippery slope whenever we judge others, religious or not. I'm just thankful my mess isn't on TV for the world to see.
In other news, I like this picture, and I don't know how Robin managed to bring even a hint of smile to her face, 'cuz homegirl was petrified, lol! The makeup and the wind are really helping this photo succeed, but I still think it's beautiful... as is Robin herself.
^^^ you cant blame her for the way she was raised. obviously religion is her most important thing, and so is it to many other people. so what if she went around reading the bible and if she called elyse a fool for being atheist. my grandma would kill me if i told her i was atheist so its a normal reaction to a very religious person.
She went way too far, IMO. I mean, its ok to state your opinion and defend your religion, but forcing it on people like that and acting purely on it, turning girls of the same religion against the other girls for the same purposes and even contradicting it for the sake of being bitchy(The infamous breast shake AND the fact that she suggested for them to dance like ho's) is just wrong. Kesse was religious, but she was much more likeable for the fact that she didn't do any of the said things. Plus, her awful portfolio and attitude just added to the fact that no one liked her. Add that to the fact that she's the oldest contestant in ANTM history and she's plus-sized and people don't understand why she's there at all and they just hate her.
I'M GONNA TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO invite you all to
STOP
calling Robin a "hypocrite".
It's just an ongoing cycle. And obviously, I was a part of it (like a half-a-jillion comments up), but whenever we call somebody a name like "hypocrite," there's gonna be another finger pointed squarely at you. It's like when you look through two adjacent mirrors and try to point at one of your reflections... it almost works, but it don't, LOL!
Dude, the judges were totally setting her up for the win til they realized she was a bitch.
And @David, of course we've all made mistakes. Not the point. She acts like everything she does is the right thing.

the man who trys to point out the splinter in his brother's eye avoids the log he has in his own.
it applies to robin as well, but no one here can say they haven't been a hypocrite once, including me.
