I will miss her sooo bad. She's my #1 fav and I thought that her portfolio wasn't THAT good, but when all of the photos of hers are shown in the elimination, the only average shot of hers are the last 3; the rest reminds me of the Catherine that I loved. BUT this episode's like.. CAN IT BE ANYMORE OBVIOUS THAT SHE'S GOING HOME!? Everyone has a life story told in this episode, except her; and everyone gets their fortune and personality told by the astrologer. UGH.
It sucks because I was really rooting for her initially but it just seems that she went downhill. Unfortuantely, the ones who bloom later usually do better.
Catherine was my favorite contestant left at this point, but in order for me to see her as robbed, I'd have to like this photo. I don't. And the footage we were shown of her shoot doesn't lead me to believe she took anything much better than this. Sadly, I think it was her time to go.
If you watched the episode you can clearly see she wasn't doing so well during the shoot. I personally thought she was the worst of the week. I don't think she had the confidence to make it any further.
This shot is absolutely hideous. The dress looks sorta shapeless, her hand is really just sticking out for no apparent reason, and then you get to the face. Lord, that face. Lighting can be really cruel when you don't know how to use it to your advantage. This wasn't her week to go, though. I feel like, while she was sorta declining, Eboni flatlined a while back and just coasted since. Though I'd take both over Laura.
Watch Catherine's vlog about this episode. This picture was taken when they were still in the process of placing all the silk worms properly. o_O It hadn't even officially started yet. And the rest of her performance was really emotional, she even cried and was really getting into it. She was sabotaged, plain and simple. There's no way this was the best on that film.
