Jesse, it worked because it made the technical problems (in this case, no neck) completely irrelevant. The sheer energy of this shot is unlike any other photo in the history of the show.

For the record, anyone who wants to trash this shot is gonna have to go through ME. It's my favourite shot in the history of ANTM, and I don't see anything in cycle 12 taking that title from it.

Fierce as hell! I love the ultra-punkness of this photo—especially her super-edgy arms. In fact, if you put them together, they form a lightning bolt! Also, Nicole draws the most attention to the energy drink.
