I love how people are sobbing over a slightly darkened area. Oh FUCK! Women have hair! We don't all naturally look like hairless baby gerbils! Yeah, it's not a good modeling thing, but come on people. Overreacting much?
who gives a crap if she doesn't shave? in america women who don't shave are considered disgusting but in many parts of the world the female body is beautiful exactly how mother nature made us, and i think that's how it should be
at the end of the day it was Fatima's choice not to shave her armpit so I don't see how you guys think Tyra was being cruel by not photoshopping the hair out. I completely agree that she was trying to prove a point to Fatima that if she wants to model she will have to conform to whats "acceptable" in the fashion world. Fatima was obviously quite happy having hairy pits or she would have shaved them long before the competition!
i also think it was cruel, because they couldve easily photoshopped it. Fatima said that where she was from, they didnt shave, so...obviously she simply didnt know! that was rude of them to do that...and gosh, its not like she has a bush of hair under her arms, its just a lil bit. i dont think it was that serious. it had to be embarrasing for her too. i love the picture though!
they definitely overreacted!!! I mean, seriously there's barely any hair there..people make it seem like theres a bush there..it's really not that serious! and how could you focus on the pit, when that FACE is right next to it!
If it bothered them so much, they should have told her to shave before the shoot. I mean, come on. The shot itself is probably the best of the bunch in terms of how Fatima looks, and this shade of fluorescent green on her skin tone just looks orgasmic.
