This cycle was rife with beautiful, experimental, and sophisticated pictures. I think at times Cycle 10 started to show a return to that, but I think Cycle 2 was the show's peak in many ways, and this photo shoot attests to that.
i agree with mechum. cycle 10 did manage to bring back much of the diversity of cycle 2. i really like that cycle 2 had many beauty shots and the shoots were very high fashion. cycle 10 was also very hifh fashion but in a more artistic kind of way like the paint and the fuerzabruta and the renaissance shoot
this is the first time that she modeled in a way that if you take off the crazy wires and hair and wipe the make up off she would still look high fashion
^ just because you can't see what she's looking at, doesn't mean she's staring into "nowhere"(you can tell when they are staring into space because the eyes usually look dead and face looks blank). I think she looks very focused on something and that focus is what makes this photo so strong!
Yoanna had the best photo this week but Mercedes got the first call-out for proving that she was more than a commercial beauty. I gotta say i didn't like Mercedes until i saw her on the runway.
