i think that this is one of the ugliest picture this season. she has a photogenic face and everything, but just staring into the camera with your eyes wide open and showing your teeth does not make a model.

comparing allison to twiggy? you guys need some help. she looks the same in every single picture. just transplant her face onto each body and there you go. her whole body of work.

Plenty of models are one-face wonders. Is it terrible for a model to have variety? Absolutely not, but it's not out of the question for some models to make lots of money off a signature face. The human face can only contort so many ways.

I guess people can't tell when there is subtle variation in someone's shots. Now Elina is someone with no more than a few looks. Allison has changed it up before.

i understand what you're saying about being one-note, but...i just don't think she's a very good model. how many things can you do looking like this in every picture?

I actually think that Allison DOES offer variation. Like she said herself, her eyes are big and that's that. BUT she evokes different emotions through them and connects with the camera. Week 1 - young and innocent and playful, Week 2 - fierce and strong, Week 3 was a bland one for her, Week 4 - kind of sad, lost, wistful, but still not weak, Week 5 - peaceful, soft, ethereal. She has her signature look, yes, but I don't think she's one-note either. Allison effectively delivers the assignments asked of her.

I think Tyra should leave Allison's eyes out of it - it just isn't Allison without it. Her eyes are her best feature. I'm even more surprised by how symmetrical her eyes and face are here. I think allison should give them some side/profile shots.

This is a perfect fashion photograph, the only slight problem I have with it is the teeth but even that cannot make the pho-to any less fiahce.

Thinking about it now, her eyes are what can get her far in the industry. I mean Cindy Crawford was a stand out for a mole, Lara Stone is a stand out for (as she puts it) her breasts and teeth, Paulina is famous for her jaw of all things. So in Alli's case her eyes are her ticket!

A lot of the top models gracing the covers of magazines have "one look." But they sell like crazy.
