Here's why I don't like this photo. Now I understand grunge (Bush and Nirvana are some of my favorite bands) but if you remove her eye makeup she's not doing anything grunge-like in the face. For her pose they could have chosen another shot. When she sat on the chair and messed with her hair I thought that would have been her shot because it is something more in tune with the genre.
^ Nirvana is my favorite band (tied with Jimi, though), but the thing about grungers - they're indifferent and don't give a damn. That's why so many of Kurt Cobain's lyrics are "I don't care..." I think she portrayed that well. In fact, she looks like she could be Kurt's long-lost sister.
^ I disagree. Her pose and face don't exude that careless aloof nature that is in grunge. She doesn't even have the Courtney Love type of grunge down! And that would be easier to do than be the Kurt Cobain, Scott Weiland kind of musician. Point is I just see a girl standing there, mouth agap, trying to look edgy, and failing. Just because they did good makeup on her doesn't mean she's doing what she should be doing, I see no angst and emotion there at all.
^ Same here darling. Well, okay. Anya needed to find the light and wasn't thinking strange enough for punk. Lauren wasn't the best of the lot. But Kat should have gotten first call out for her's.
that shot was CRAZY pop. i can imagine it on any album cover. i hate lauren, but it's definitely a good shot. AND I AGREE, MYCAT AND NOSH! KAT'S WAS THE BEST!
I'd say thats a reasonable order.
