She looks short and she's not connecting with the theme at all. She probably did the worst this week for me. Hope she gets better, though. I'm starting to like her...

This is bottom three material for me. She doesn't look good in the clothes, she looks like she has a big waist. She's posing yeah but her legs look short and she looks lost and doesn't belong in the set and she doesn't look like she's having fun like she's supposed to. If you take that away, it doesn't even look like it's a fashion shot either. Anyway the styling and clothes suck. The whole photoshoot sucked.

I think that the body is scary but she took riks and at least that's a remarkable pic. What a shame that's not remarkable for being good!

Speaking of Vogue. What I don't like about ANTM is how it corrupted my mind to some degree. Whenever I read vogue these days, it is inevitable for me to have this blaring image of Benny Ninja in my mind doing his extreme poses. Ugh...

Vogue is nothing like what ANTM claims it to be.

^They get it right sometimes though. Like I could totally see Amanda's Nivea shot or Brittany's Candy shot on the cover of vogue(Am I the only one?)

^ No I agree. But after looking at the international issues I realize Tyra has created "rules" for what makes a good shot and they rarely apply. Like "no neck", not true some of my favorite photos don't have a giraffe neck.

^Some shots don't need neck, but some die without it. Especially with shorty girls and plussies, like David said.

^ Not quite, I've seen Kate Moss forget her neck and she still gets her shots printed.

^ Just thumb through a mag, you'll see that the "rules of a Vogue worthy shot" need not apply. Same thing goes with runway.

^I wouldn't say they're "rules of a vogue worthy shot". To me, it all depends on the picture. Like LB's Rope Ladder shot had no neck, nor did it need it, but then we had Camille's B&W and the no neck just brought it from bad to terrible. Oh, and I think neck is extra important in beauty shots, at the very least.

^ Well there are just some cases where Tyra is wrong. Modeling now is different from how she modeled, with her one fierce expression.
