Am I the only one on here who could care less about girls' necks? An elongated neck is always a great thing, but shots don't need them to be considered excellent. Some of the best shots in ANTM history (Jenah Recycling, Caridee Evil) have zero neck shown and are still fabulous, and this shot is no exception. (It's definitely not one of the best shots in ANTM history though.)
I like this photo and I like Marjorie, but I have to disagree with her.. In france we're not all focusing on the negative side of everything.. This is just Marjorie, how she is. Not how european people are. ^^
Why is there a couch outside on the roof? ... And it's in INDOOR couch, not even lawn furniture! Oh the audacity of it!
And Marjorie is DANG good. She'll work. She'll make bank. And if she reads these posts and doesn't work, that's ok because you are hot and speak two languages and could probably succeed at anything you do!
What I hate is that people don't care about no neck when it comes to Jenah or someone else like that, but when its someone like Saleisha, they act as if she killed someone . As for the whole no neck situation, neck is nice, but if the whole picture is good enough, it doesn't need it to be successful(ex. this shot, the shots that zib mentioned)... However, if the whole picture is a disaster, or if its a beauty shot, no neck just brings it down a notch(ex. Camille's B&W)
Still, more neck makes the shot nicer IMO, but its not like neck is a spare/eliminate situation.
Agreed Babin, people will attack a girl like Saliesha or someone unpopular for having no neck, but when someone popular has no neck, people quickly dismiss it.,
Showing a neck is like an elegant compliment to the model in pictures. Having a long neck, it shows height of the model. In beauty shot, long neck is like a must but high fashion or themed photos like this, models dont need to show their necks to make a good pictures.
The thing about Saleisha is that she has a short neck from the beginning and its hard to judge her picture when we all know in every. single. picture. she has no neck at all. Even when she tries to elevate her neck, it looked too stretched out which looked really, really disturbing.
Marjorie does not look like a model in person, but she gets HOT in her pictures, lol. But I'm going to put her in the same boat as Jos.. I think she'll being going home within the next two episodes.
^^ It's funny, Piacere, because I think she looks much more like a model "in person" than in her photos. I love her so much and I think she's absolutely precious, but I really haven't been impressed with any of her photos thus far. This one isn't bad but I don't love it either. Then again, the wig they gave her was very Tori Spelling and looked very unnatural.
love this shot. the pose is genius. marjorie seriously knows how to pose. her uglyness turns beautiful in photographs. shes not that pretty in person, but her photos are so dam high fashion. love the hunch in this and the eyes are intense even though one eye is showing. the hair looks very fake though. this photo deserves a 4
