It irritated me so much when Xiomara didn't want to portray grace jones. Grace jones is a role model to black woman. Grace jones is a very strong figure, proud of her skin colour. Xiomara was being a prat.
I believe she didn't want to portray her because she was offended that tyra thought that she could actually look like her. Most people don't think of grace jones and beautiful in the same sentence and for someone to think you look like her is not a compliment. Sure she is F-I-E-R-C-E, but pretty???? That and most black women do not want to be darker, unless they are really really lightskinned like mycousin,who looks all white, she is always trying to tan, lol! But xio ended up looking great!
I think Xiomara nailed this shot. It's fierce indeed. However I would give most of the credit to the costume, make-up and the style. Those elements are doing most of the work here.
This is amazing, stunning, high fashion, awesome and flawless all at once. The legs look amazing, her face looks fabulous and she's definitely portraying Grace Jones, 2nd best of the week.
She should have gone home last week, and I thought she was an ugly contestant. However, I'm glad she stuck around for one more week, because this picture is stunning. Best of the week!
^We saw only about 10 seconds of anywhere from 50-75 shots, I don't think they showed her how to pose 50 times. They probably gave her an idea of whate Grace Jones would have posed like and she took off from there.
