really caridee would of been in the bottom--but michelle didnt think she was strongest. from what i think--the call out order would be--Eugena,Michelle,Melrose,CariDee, and then amanda was eliminated
Melrose's shot rocked!!! The face was brilliant!. I like the face here and not the body. ^idk but I was pissed when they were gushing over this at the final panel but hated it during the actual week it was taken.
this is a good photo (mostly because it doesn't look like crazydee, who i think looks a little california beach drag), but i definitely prefer melrose's. and yeah, antm is rigged so that explains the judges opinions. like nigel always changes his opinions at final, twiggy always looked to the rest of the judges to make a decision(no offense twiggs, i love you) and i don't know about miss jay. but yeah the judges hated this photo during the actual episode, but sucked cari's dick about it at the final panel. antm is mega rigged.
David18, you are so right. During this panel, Twiggy said that Melrose looked "extraordinary" and Tyra said that Caridee's shot was "beautiful photography, but not strong model". Yet at the final panel, Twiggy and Tyra said that Caridee's shot was one of the best of the competition.
^same in cycle 9. They made Saleisha's pics seem better than they were. They kinda half heartedly judged Chantal's. In cycle 10 they didn't give Anya enough credit. They PRAISED Whitney's shots SOOOO much that when they got to Anya's they were like its good but ur nose is busted or w/e. Its soo rigged its not fair at all. In C5 I was shocked and still am shocked to this day that Nicole won over Nik!!
probably because their favorites were sent home and opinions arent set in stone, they can change over time. and i think the main problem they had with Cari this week was her rude comment to Nigel which made them look down on this photo. and to me they did give Anya good credit for her portfolio and the negative for her performance in the finale.
^ They gave Anya not enough credit, IMO. She made it seem like Whitney's pics were stunning, while Anya's were mediocre, even though it was the opposite way. Same with Nik and Mel and chantal. And Joanie
Beautiful. But I think it was an accident. Her overall shoot went bad. Which is a shame because I liked her top (okay that's not a good reason...) In any event she outstayed her welcome. She looked like Paris Hilton and didn't seem very high fashion. As annoying as Melrose initially was she's grown on me and she only had three bad shots (my opinion of coarse!).
^I AGREE!!! caridee shouldn't have stayed so long. she doesn't look high fashion unless they make her up beyond the point of recognition! and all of her photos were profile, yet the judges said nothing...caridee was a terrible winner.
ironically enough, redsoxrule794, i don't consider a shot to be facing the camera unless it's like say yoanna's motor helmet, nik's famous paintings, etc. here, the angles in her face distort her features, whereas if she were face-on, she would most likely look different than this. like here you can't tell she has a long face.
