I know some people think the sight of pubic hair is gross, but to me a waxed groin is disgusting! And I think her breasts look strange here. Too bad her Playboy is nothing like Lily Cole's French Playboy, that was at least beautiful instead of repulsive.
Ugghh...I think a grown woman with no pubic hair is so repulsive! Sadly some of my favorite models are waxed there too (Oh Lara Stone...) but just uggghhh...its sickening!
I don't get why people bash her so much, I mean really. Playboy may not be Haute Couture or Vogue, but its work either way, and in the end of the day, it pays. I don't blame her either, though I don't see how this is "getting back at Tyra".
@curdled, I don't get that either. I mean there's nudity in the fashion world as well, and I, for one, believe that nudity isn't such a bad thing. I don't see anything wrong with it.
Playboy is not artistic, it is tacky. And it offends me as an artist to hear people label anything as art! From Lauren's Fuerza Bruta to Adrianna's Playboy spreads.
^ When a woman is standing over a motorcylce rubbing her nipples I have a hard time finding artistic merit. A wise person on deviantart once made a very smart stamp reading "Pornography is NOT nude art" And I consider these men's magazines bordering on the edge of porn. I'm just happy Lily Cole's French Playboy spread was not like this. And if you want ACTUAL nude art look at Manet's "Olympia".
I agree; at least it's Playboy and not something like Hustler. Also, Mycat, I am also an artist, and in no way do I see this as "trashy". Though I don't really like to look at nakey people, this is sort of like a modern day version of Olympia, only much, MUCH more modernized. Besides, if people want to label things as art, then so what? It may not be art to you, but from their POV, it is.
Art is subjective. There is no universality to what defines art. If someone considers something a piece of art, why fuss? And for the love of God, good models have posed for Playboy. Like Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford.
