It's kind of cute but not at all in keeping with her assigned character. She doesn't even look a bit sleepy-- more like "I'm Wide Awake and on a Caffeine High, Beauty".
I think she looks great in this picture. It is not at all sleeping beauty, but if you did not know that was supposed to be the theme, then it would seem like a successful picture.
Both Kari and Gina came as "Happy Princess", they both smiled. But since Gina was supposed to potray sleeping beauty, happy face shouldn't buy it, right? But she was safe and Kari was home because she couldn't walk in heels, I feel sorry for Kari...
i agree with everyone who defended this shot. It's gorgeous and a good shot, but it's not sleeping beauty. in her defense, why the hell did they choose the shot that she was smiling? A blank stare would have been better than the one that contradicted the theme
