i really like the versatility she showed in this shot. they wanted a different look from her, and they got it. it's got a "national geographic"/benetton feel to it that's really difficult to duplicate with the average model.
^i cud totally relate to Marvita's insecurity. at times i just can't find the means to get better in my profession ... she was a bad example tho she gave up! but i love her still ...
I have to disagree with the "awful" comments...I love this shot! She does look very depressed, but I think it works. She had so much potential. I miss Marvita <3

Why did you give up on yourself Marvita?, you had so much potential. Personally I think this should of been a non-elimination week due to Kim quitting.
OMG Epocha, I keep agreeing with you! That is such a great idea! Tyra shouldve been like "Marvita, although you gave up, we see your potential, so we want to give you another chance.." Call Whitney before her, since she didnt give up, just did really bad. And have Marvita thinking shes going home and then pull out another picture. UGH @ TyTy! There were 14 girls! I was looking forward to a non/double elimination! And UGH~ @ Marvita for giving up! I WANTED YOU TO GO SO FAR! Okay, I need to chill. lol.
Its really not that bad. I love the emotion she's portraying. The sadness in her eyes here is haunting. She could show more of the products,though, and the rest of the shot looks boring. Just her eyes are great.
