1) I'm not sure how long their CG contracts are, but I doubt they would keep them around unless they were major contenders, especially since they need to advertise a new winner every few months, and we would definitely know if her contract was renewed.
2) Wigs. Or temporary color. CG should have no problem against that. Especially since it's not a job for CG. It's probably Elite keeping her blonde, since it's what suits her best for her jobs.
I'm climbing up there as well. It was HELL saving and attaching and copying and such for a couple of hours, but I'm sure it will be worth it when I see Elyse's gorgeous face plastered all over the recent uploads section. ^.^
