Hey, can anyone clear up the contest rules for me? I thought you couldn't have print work or commercial in order to be eligible. (Except for Tyra's love-child Saleisha of course.)
Contestants are allowed to have print work, test shots, commercials, etc. What matters is the range of the ads. If it's a Vogue spread, or any other wide-established brand, the girl can't (then again, what Vogue model would be trying out for ANTM? Oh, nevermind (Anchal)). But ANTM won't hold a girl back just for local lifestyle magazines or a small picture in Seventeen. I believe 5 years is the waiting period for big ads and such before the girl can try out.
^ I wonder if there is a greivance procedure in place for models who don't make the show, but people like Saleisha do... they (arguably) have an interest in staying on the show... curious!
Oh, and I feel like she wants to eat me in this picture... quite scary
Celia is fierce. She looks beautiful here. I think she has a shitload of modelling potential...I don't really think she looks old either, she just has a very interesting face... Kind of reminds me of a girl I saw in a Burberry campaign that Kate Moss was in, actually
but JESUS, could they have picked a WORSE photographer? this guy cant shoot for SH I T!! lighting's all jacked, some pics are blurry! did they give the camera to a 6 yr old???? lol
I think this photography is beautiful. The surreal effect of ANTM photoshopping is a bit overrated nowadays. A model who can look good in raw photography is great in my books.
