I think this one is super duper boring.

it's divine. it's a great example of not needing to do some crazy pose to exude editorial appeal. and the face is terribly strong. very reminiscent of marjorie's windmill.

I think a better example of that would be Ambreals newspaper shot

I don't understand how you can tell the face is strong, seeing as how you can't really see it. Marjorie's windmill shot is very different, because her face looked GREAT. The face compensated for the so-called flat pose. However, you can't see Katarzyna's face here. This photo is more about great photography and great lighting than good modeling. The composition is good, though.


But hey, it's KATARZYNA, that MEANS this photo is STUNNING. One of the best post-show pictures in ANTM history! So perfect!

i see a slight furrow in her brow, i see a slightly parted lip, and i see serious expression. it's not THAT hard to see.

I also see a nose. And a forehead. And her left cheek. Wow-- you right, she's awesome.

and hey, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? IT'S KATARZYNA! SHE'S A CROWD FAVORITE! BECAUSE CERTAIN PEOPLE CAN'T SEPERATE THE MODEL FROM THE QUALITY OF THE MODELING, OBVIOUSLY, KATARZYNA IS ABSOLUTLEY INCAPABLE OF TAKING A GOOD PHOTOGRAPH.

AND COSMOPOLITAN GREECE DECIDED "HMM...HOW CAN WE LOSE MONEY? WE DON'T WANT TO SELL COPIES! WE DON'T WANT CUSTOMERS TO BUY THESE PRODUCTS! I KNOW! LET'S HIRE A TERRIBLE MODEL AND MAKE A TERRIBLE SPREAD! BECAUSE BUSINESS IS ABOUT LOSING MONEY!"

That makes zero sense, but okay. I always comment on Katarzyna's pictures saying that they're fabulous (look at you'll see), but I only give credit where credit is due. Katarzyna, like most other models, takes GREAT picture, GOOD ones, and MEDIORCRE ones. I would call this one mediocre. It's my opinion. I also think that she is overrated, and people DO comment "Oh my god, stunning!" on pictures JUST because it's Katarzyna. You're going off on some rant that is proving to be totally irrelevant. And while you're at it, don't twist MY words around, please.

i'm not twisting. i know people comment with "fierce" on many photos (that's where the "certain people can't seperate the model from the quality of the modeling" bit comes in).

I know it goes both ways. I, personally, am not a fan of Katarzyna. That being said, I could go find 20+ shots she has taken that practically make me drool. Trust me, I'm able to sepArate the model from the modeling, it's just that my opinion differs from other people's on some of her work. And I know that people are protective of their favorite models' work, I hate it when people trash my girl Dominique-- who of course takes the occasional bad photo herself.
