She is supposed to be an "bizarre extraterrestrial evangelist". So an alien nun from the future, so the whole spread is about being out of place and being taken by the mundane things like a jackfruit as being something special. There is another shot where she is on a trolley expecting it to drive her somewhere.
She looks like she's holding a very rare and precious item. I love it. Clothes look good on her. Durian smells like hell but to her it smells like heaven.
