^^^David... in response to your "don't you know already" bit... of course I'm aware of the fact that the show is rigged. Read any of my other posts EVER and you'll see my unabashed criticism of anyone who actually thinks this show is a CONTEST...
I was commenting on how young she looks PERIOD. And I know Tyra-bot picks the shot she wants, not the best shot, but Elina looked older the whole time she was on the show. I heart Elina and all... but the girl's got some years behind those stoic almond eyes.
This is just my personal oppinion, but I would not say the show is rigged (imo imo imo imo - I can't stress that enough because when something like this is said everyone reacts as if it's fact).
I do believe every girl has a chance to win and Tyra does not choose weaker shots to favour other girls. Yes the show is political at times and that influences certain girls chances (referring to Whitney). But I really don't think Tyra would deliberately choose a weaker shot. I know I'm rambling but I just think everyone is being a little too cynical.
If the show was rigged, we all know who would've won... Sheena of course or Analeigh. Two popular girls with mass appeal. But Mckey won based on her potential and not her personality, which everyone says should be the basis of the show and when it finally happens everyone's complaining.
More to the point, this is STILL my favourite shot of Elina. But she did not bring this potential to the show. If she did, she could've won and I think Tyra would be happy to have her as a winner. If she did win, however, everyone would be hating on her saying how crap she was in the competition. Whoever wins, is hated, and that's just sad.

IMO the show isn't rigged, but extremely biased, although I do admit some things strike me as suspicious, namely the McKey first call-out/Sheena elimination thing that David pointed out, and the final four thing.
^^ I don't think Tyra always chooses the best shots. But I do believe she chooses the shots that SHE believes are the best. There are many times that I have felt that Tyra chose the wrong shot, but not intentionally. I agree with Babin, the show isn't rigged, but yes it is biased in a lot of circumstances. I definately see what your saying david. What were the things you pointed out that Babin mentioned?
mckey getting complimented on her legs. any of the girls would have had long legs if they had 10 inch stilettos and a super short skirt, yet mckey got those, while all the other girls got LOOONG skirts. and jay manuel called sheena hoochie for stradling the pole, but it was the PHOTOGRAPHER who told her to straddle the pole and to stay low to the ground.
Oh I see what you mean. But I still don't see a whole conspiracy about it all. I don't think Tyra has much input on what each girl wears specifically, that's up to the wardrobe stlyists. As for the straddle the pole thing, yeah that is kinda unfair.
so you're saying there is NEVER a moment when two girls compete at the same level? two girls who have an equally good photo? out of over 100+ eliminations, the girls have always been better than others. there's always one girl who takes a horrible photo and one who takes an amazing photo? kelle's lee jeans was actually her best?
I honestly don't know, but I'm giving the benifit of the doubt. As for Kelle's Lee jeans, that was a group photo, I'm sure she had better shots but I guess that was the shot where the majority of girls had good shots. But I honestly don't think Tyra would intentionally do something like that, that's just me. You make a good point though. Let's just agree to semi-disagree if that makes sense
Elina looks so much better here. The face is very soft, so maybe she needed to be Dave's "Unlucky #5" because now she's rocking it. Kind of like how Katarzyna is doing now.
