ANTM needs to die. Just the fact that it has "Model" in the title is embarrasing. I don't think I've ever felt nearly as embarrased in my life as I feel right now for the show. It is seriously just THE most pathetic thing I've ever heard. But whatever. Tyra's not looking for a model. She's looking for what she needs in this recession, with the fear of networks cancelling or moving shows. She needs RATINGS AND VIEWERS.
And I can confidently say she will have the most of any cycle.
But this is the suckiest of suckage. Heck, that's the understatement of the millenium. Short girls on a modeling show. Might as well kick everyone off the apprentice and replace them with kindergartners. Take away the designers of Project Runway and replace them with blind people with no arms. Take the Survivors off the island and place them in billion dollar townhouses in New York with 6 figure jobs. Replace Vanessa Ann Hudgens in HSM with Tila Tequila. Require that The Biggest Loser contestants be at the most 100 pounds.
This is so stupid, I can't even BEGIN to rant about how many more pages I want to type just about this, and yet, I feel absolutely speechless because of how stupid this is.
I'm a DIE-HARD Tyra and ANTM fan, but this is the epitome of "jumping the shark".

I thought today was going to be a good day after finding out Marjorie had done a runway, but for this to be confirmed and for evidence to be fanned in front of my eyes has absolutely infuriated me, to the point where I feel like going outside and breaking something weak.
I think that's what's most frustrating. The fact that we all have so much love for the show and to see it dive so low so fast... again, I'm speechless.
To be honest, I lost a lot of my passion for top model around cycle 9-10. Then cycle 11 was great, one of the best - it took me back to the days of cycle 2 and I found myself invested in the series again. Now, with the limited potential the cycle 12 girls exhibit and finding out about cycle 13, I'm just really disappointed.
Why couldn't have Tyra lowered the age requirement or something?
*sigh* Nevertheless, I will never stop watching Top Model and I will always support Tyra. Though, I feel that after cycle 13 when Tyra and the Jays contracts run out (so I hear), the show will be revamped somehow.
I don't see why it's such a big deal, it's not like it's still a credible show at ALL. I've always wanted to try out for ANTM, but I'm only 5'6. Maybe I'll try for cycle 13?
