I hate how people act like "Oh you're pale, that's ugly! You should tan!" My cousin tans and it makes her look so cheap. But I am happy I'm pale (even if I don't look liek my ethnicity...) I even have a shirt that matches my skintone!
YES fake tans instantly make you look cheap, in my opinion. Being pale is the best-- except I don't wear white t-shirts... but hey, that's a compromise.
I, as I'm sure many of you other fellow Heather-fans, am in LOVE with her fair-skinned look. In fact, it's my favorite look for models period. This position you're putting Carol's daughter and MJ in; this rotton, tan-conformist thing... I think that's just wrong. The colo scheme of the whole shot has a very tropical vibrant feel, and I don't think her pale skin complimented it well. The tan suits the shot, and besides, it wasn't like they were making a HUGE deal about her being pale while they shot her.
