^^^i actually think her eyes are really pretty. and i love how she looks in the beginning credits of ANTM, but this shot is just awful. her expression is bad and the editing makes her freckles look like an illness.
hahaha kill it with fire hahaha seriously guys its not the freckles. if this was alice burdeau having these freckles and this editing she would look to die for. dominiques problem in this picture is her eyebrows, her hand, the angle of her face and the dropping corners of her mouth. i actually think she has some potential but shes 23 and i dont see her in the industry. i dont think shes a very pleasant character or a real asset in any way
Y'all are so rude, like for real? Bashing her that bad? I understand the photo being absolutely terrible, but saying that her freckles are disgusting and all just makes you all jerks and bitches.
^Are you serious? This is the modeling and fashion business. The ENTIRE point of the industry is to be critiqued by the public. If the majority of the public is turned off by the photo, it's a bad photo. Dominique does not belong nor has she ever belonged in this industry. I'm sorry, but just because you want to be a model doesn't mean you can be. You have to either have a good look, or be able to know how to make your look look GOOD. Dominique is neither of those. Sweet, but not a model.
I agree with AlliMonZter. You guys aren't fashion critics, you're people looking at pictures on the internet. Stop being bitches already. Freckles are gorgeous, and so is Dominique. This just isn't a very good picture of her. Bashing her for her appearance is immature and petty.
This photo is really ugly, but Dominique is SO uniquely beautiful, and I think she still does have modeling potential. Like, I think Tyra would know better than random ANTM viewers commenting on a photo. Like, who are you all to say she is ugly?
I actually REALLY want to voice out my support for KHFan90 here . & I have to say that I kind of DISAGREE with Morrie & AlliMonZter . Yes , we are just "Average Joes and Plain Janes eating Cheetos in front of the Telly" , but THAT does NOT mean that our IQ are all below 30 , OK ??? Modelling is ALSO about looking very pretty & making the PRODUCTs look nice & alluring . I know that THIS might sound very cynical to some folks here , b/c some ppl on this Board are NAIVE & are way-too-idealistic .
First of all, I think some people with freckles are gorgeous, (Alice Burdeu, Patricia Van Der Vliet, Chelsey, Fo, etc.) but Dominique's freckless are just scary, they tend to look like acne for me, the retouching, the facial expression, her hand, and the shape of her head are not helping too, she's pretty in person, but that's all, I hope she leave modelling because it's just not for her, but I will be happy if Dom is happy and pursuing her dream
I feel like everyone here sounds a little confused. First of all, as long as the internet exists, there will always be trolls, and as long as there's the concept of beauty, there will always be the concept of ugly. You guys have to remember that. That being said, saying we're nothing in the industry therefore our opinions are not valid is probably even worse. You don't have to make it big to have an opinion, that's the sort of bullcrap mentality that screwed up politics.
Our opinions only matter if the photographer/model logs on and reads some of the horrible things written here. Some people don't have thick skin and can't handle criticism and yes maybe they shouldn't be in the fashion industry, but how is calling her disgusting or diseased constructive in any way? Honestly, you people shouldn't have such strong words to say about a photo of someone you don't even know!
