I really hope Toccara doesn't become pigeon-holed as a lingerie model. The majority of her print work thus far consists of scantily clad shots of her and I think she's better than just a pair of underpants and a bra. It would be one thing if this was her only (or one of a couple) example of lingerie modeling in her portfolio, but it has instead become the rule rather than the exception.
^^ heart be realistic. do you honestly think a full-figuired model will ever be in a victoria secret catalog and ever be on the victoria's secret runway? do you think they would have let heidi klum walk on the runway had she not lost her baby weight. the only non paper thin model to work for victoria secret is tyra and i dont think they are going to get bigger than that
hey..i think anything is possible.. i think they will eventually realize that its actually necessary to represent woman of a larger size to increase sales.. Tocorra would be a great candidate! much better than whitney
well, considering that she actually got into Vogue Italia, the sky is the limit! At least ONE plussie is finally breaking the mould - Whitney should take note.
^unknown, most of the victoria's secret models aren't exactly the thin high fashion types, because they market a woman who looks sexy to the old-fashioned man. the girls are just slightly underweight, if anything.
I think as a Plus Sized model, there's a lot of hype about being comfortable in your own skin, and showing that curves are sexy..so i think that's why she's often seen in Lingerie..it's like saying, yeah, I'm bigger, but I'm still sexy! as you can see!
It's amazing to see how far Toccara has come since Cycle 3. I thought she was pretty mediocre on the show (her only good photo was her Lee Jeans), so seeing her in Vogue Italia is like, WOW. I'm so proud of her.
