AzMarie doesn't even begin to resemble Bianca R. facially. They just both had shaved heads. Anyway, I'd much prefer this shot if she'd closed her eyes, or just not looked at the camera
Possibly a controversial assertion but I think the femininity of her face is too far from the masculinity of her body. There's no marriage of male and female that would create androgyny but instead, they work as two separate entities. This photo specifically I see a face and an upper body that aren't part of the same model and that's a tremendous disadvantage I believe she will carry forever.
@Hf, the gay comment really rubbed me the wrong way. I think just because a girl is androgynous or a bit bulkier or has a shaved head doesn't mean she's into women. That is just a ridiculous assumption to make. Its along the same lines as seeing a slimmer man with long hair and assuming he's gay, which is also along the same lines of associating big noses with jewish people or curvier figures on women with promiscuity. Its just wrong.
^Chill. HF was just asking if Az was gay, not making a remark about it. I doubt HF looked at this ONE picture alone and had that question sparked into their head. A lot of AzMarie's pictures show masculine tendencies so it's easy to make out the possibility, it's not a stereotype. There are a lot of harsher LGBT related issues and we can't just focus on the trivial things like appearance because you make it seem like the association between being gay and your appearance is a taboo.
^You overlooked the point. Irrelevant of how many pictures show what, its still a stereotype. Not to mention nothing can really be said about a person's life based on modeling pictures. Azmarie has a very androgynous look and I'm sure she'd be marketed as such
