@ mattwoof: My guess is that it's because Cycle 13 was, as it's been termed by others, a "recession cycle". Do you think it was mere coincidence that Nigel Barker popped up in nearly every other episode for a challenge or shoot? And I don't think it would be a stretch to assume that one would have to pay through the nose to shoot with Gilles Bensimon.
^And also, ALL the challenges in Hawaii were outside, so that proves they didn't have enough money for studio rentals. I think they spent all their money on the Hawaiian house.
tbh neither of them sell mascara to me, but Nicole still has the better photo imo. EDIT: I just looked at Nicole's photo, and the mascara pops out at me more in the closeup, though it still isn't amazing as far as selling mascara.
AGREED WITH BAS73! And @12shadesofpurple: Yeah I noticed that too. I think it's because the way they're modeling. Nicole draws people's attention to her eyes. Laura doesn't have to skill yet to do that what with her big lips (but nice lips nonetheless) so my eyes get drawn to her mouth. And then I look down and shudder at her muscular, stubby arm. It's worse in close-up. It makes me wish I hadn't looked at it, because now I think this shot is a lot worse than it originally was. D:
So proud of her, she deserved being that far. A sweetheart, but not a model. Shes more an actress to me anyway congrats nicole and laura! both did amazing
Know how sometimes Laura's face looks... different. It's all gone here. She looks very beautiful. I hope she starts modelling again because I felt so sorry for her when she lost because she was the nicest girl and she was just the most genuine.
