The face is gorgeous. Those who call lauren ugly on youtube clearly don't know what they were looking at.

I love the placement of her hands and shoulder. Such a versatile face.

I think this is a prime example of when actually having "no neck" in a photograph comes out gorgeous! I think that elongated necks often look better but I don't think it's a hard and fast rule.

i've seen her new test shoot on topmodel-livejournal. pretty much meh..

i think the shadow above her eyes (hood) are editted .. her eyes aren't that hooded nor that sunken to have that shadow it's just off and inconsistent with her other photos

Proof that neck isn't always needed in pictures.

a neck isnt always needed, what matters is how your hold you head. Like giving the illusion of having a neck cuz sometimes shoulders block it.. the angle. Or hell the garmet. Dont like call 'no neck' cuz liek you heard tyra say it. Atleast understand the concept arounding it. Cuz frankly a neck in some photos would either look to forced/ and/or totaly ruin a photo. Sometimes it just doesn't matter.

whenever tyra says no neck, though, it's because her and/or the panel feel it would look way better with neck. this photo is gorgeous without the neck, because of the shape it makes.

I think very few photos can get away with no neck, this isn't one of them.
