I don't think so. I can definitely agree with you that the Nigel shoot was an accident, but apart from that, she was always experimenting. She said in one of the episodes that a good model knows how to give angles, and she was always trying new angles, which is something any decent model should do. I don't think Anya comes onto set and thinks "Okay, I'm going to do this, this, and this." I think she just lets her body go and flows to the movement, which isn't a lack of skill in any sense. Sure, she shouldn't have gotten praised for it, but pretty much everyone that shoot was a mess and needed coaching, and frankly, in the real modeling world, no one cares how you get the shot. It's not about "how" it's about "now". The result is the important aspect. And I agree with yenegon. It was really only at the papparazzi shoot.

^ This is not going to become an argument so I'll just say that she looked like she was being praised for the wrong reasons that week. And I'm done. Beyond that there was never a reason for me to dislike Anya (even if her accent was annoying at first)

Fine. I just thought I'd put my input. I don't think I've explained my view on the whole "Is Anya good or lucky?" debate yet, so I did.

Mycatjewel... Anya was criticize too during that shot.. It just so happen that all of them did not do good that week... Anya's pic is accidentally great. But with that taking great pic accidentally is potential and talent... She's a model! But that was only one time though... It was the photo that is being judged there. Her pic is great and that's final... As well as this pic; I always love pics like this where they just stand and be fierce. It is effortless.

I think anyone who thinks any of Anya's shots were more "luck" than the other girl on the show or in modeling... is silly. Aside from that this photo makes me wish Anya would've played Sumara in The Ring, because then I may enjoy that movie.

My only critiscism is that she looks short.
