what the hell has joanie been doing? at least Dani is working, and according to the girls on Modelville, catalogue work pays much more than editorial shoots.
^ Why are you bringing up Danielle? Her and Joanie are two different people, who work in different ways. "at least Dani is working." So is Joanie, but in a different way. It's not like Danielle is doing super high-fashion Chanel ads either.
first off, there are plenty of Danielle's photos with comments that mention Joanie, no need to single out my ONE comment that did this. they're always be compared because they are the top two. People can say what they want on here, clearly. The main point of my comment, is to point out to the many people on here who think so highly of this "high fashion" work, not realizing it pays like 150 for a days worth of work. Tyra pointed it out on her Modelville show; she also said the most money comes from catalogue and campaign work. My original question "what the hell is Joanie up to" goes out to those who thought she should have won over Danielle. (I must remember that yenego, is about 14yrs old, so there's no need for such details in my responses.)
^i wouldn't call essence or sports illustrated (which were the ones mentioned on the show) "high-fashion editorials". cheap normal magazines pay that. but real editorials like V magazine or such don't pay such small amounts of money. plus spreads are very differently paid than covers. (think about it, do you think victoria beckham or anne hathaway would do those spreads for 150 a day? then i'd rent them out for birthday parties...it really depends on the publication.) and i think people are mad cause you kind of brought dani out of nowhere and insulted joanie out of nowhere.
actually, they were talking about Cosmopolitan and Cosmo Girl on the show (which may or may not be HF, i'm not into that type of stuff.).. .and briefly mentioned SI and Essence. but thats besides the point, these two girls are always compared because they were the top two.. and MANY of Dani's pictures have comments that mention Joanie. And I didn't insult Joanie, I asked, "what the hell has she been doing" in response to this picture.
okay, cosmopolitan and cosmo girl sure as HELL aren't high fashion editorials either. and fatima only had a picture in cosmopolitan, versus essence where she had a spread, so that may also explain the money.
whatever, said I wasn't into the whole HF or not world, but reguardless, when people stop bringing up Joanie on Dani's pictures, then I'll feel differently about mentioning Dani in comments about Joanie's pics. simple concept.
I see nothing wrong with bringing up Danielle on a Joanie photo or vice versa. They were the final 2 on their cycle, so it's only natural that they would be compared.
^Sorry. I thought that you were insulting Joanie, and since I lloovvvvvveee Joanie, I got mad. But I'm 13. And I agree that Joanie and Dani were the best of their cycle, hands down. But it's sad that the RU's like Nik, Joanie, Natasha, Shannon haven't been getting a lot of work lately.
