I respect David for being a designer and knowlegable about fashion and I wouldn't argue about current fashion standards. However, I haven't heard a good reason as to why all models should be stick thin. I don't think clothes look better on thinner women. Just my humble opinion.
^I'm not an expert on fashion by any means, but is designing clothes for thinner women maybe easier? Girls who are a size 2 have varying body shapes of course, but from what I've seen, girls who are not a size 2 tend to vary much more. Most of the girls on antm seem to be able to wear the same clothes for the most part, but Whitney would not be able to wear the same thing as say, Toccara (not as Toccara was on the show, but after she lost weight).
^ true. I was thinking that maybe its easier. I wanna take back what I said. I still think clothes look good on curvy women, but now that I think about it I think clothes look just as good on both. I don't wanna come across as one of those people who rail against thin women-if its naturally thin. Some of my fav contestants ever are thin: C1-Shannon, Elyse. C2:Shandi. C6:Furonda.(These are only a few of my fav girls) . I still think that there isn't anything wrong really with someone with thalia's body wearing a high-fashion gown. I'm a total nontraditionalist when it comes to fashion.
^You weren't really coming off as someone who is totally against models being thin, so don't worry. It's not like you were saying that models should not be allowed to be thin or anything, and you weren't being rude, like some people can be when it comes to models and weight/size.
This is probably my favourite of her. I admire her for being only 18 and going on such a popular show even with scars. Contrary to what most people are saying, Tahlia was not my least favourite at all.. Aminat was.
This is a good shot but I don't think there is any place in the modeling industry for Tahlia. My callout order for that week would have been Fo, Teyona, Aminat, Tahlia, London, Natalie, Allison...
She had the right idea here, it was a nice try but ultimately it looks kind of cheesy and slightly amateur I feel like Tahlia is capable of taking strong photos and MIGHT have some commercial potential, but she's really inconsistent and not versatile at all.

Idk. I like thalia. she is very hated on this site. While I agree she probably won't be very successful in modeling, she could rock beauty shots.
